Subject: Amendments To STCW Circular 2014-02 On Daily Journal Of Bridge Watchkeeping Duties And Daily Journal Of Engine-Room Watchkeeping Duties

Pursuant to Republic Act 10635 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), the 1978 International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW), and further to STCW Circular Nos. 2014-08, 2014-09, the following amendments are hereby adopted:

1.  The submission of the Daily Journal of Bridge Watchkeeping Duties (DJBWD) or Daily Journal of Engine-Room Watchkeeping Duties (DJEWD) is not required for purposes of licensure examination and issuance of Certificate of Competency (COC) as Officer-in-Charge of a Navigational Watch (OIC-NW) or Officer-in-Charge of an Engineering Watch (OIC-EW);…..
