All certicates issued under Regulation V/1 of the Convention to Masters and Officers shall be ravalidated not later than five(5) years after the date of issue. The certificates shall be revalidated in accordance with the requirements under paragraph 2 of Regulation VII.

All documentary evidences issued under Regulations V/2 and V/3 of the Convention shall be renewed not later than five(5) years after the date of issue. These shall be renewed provided however that the holder thereof presents evidence that he has undergone the appropriate refresher training or has achieved the required standard of competence.
