Last 25 June 2022, on the Celebration of the Day of the Seafarer 2022, the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) has launched the online search for Ten (10) Exceptional Bravery at Sea Awardees (Domestic/International).

The purpose of this award is to recognized seafarer who have exhibited extraordinary acts of bravery, whether it is attempting to rescue an individual in need, save a vessel, or prevent lasting damage to the marine environment.
